ISDB is a private, non-profit academic institution of higher education, created and maintained by the Salesian Congregation (SDB), namely the Salesian Vice-Province “São Callisto Carravario” of East Timor, and governed in accordance with the norms of the Ministry of Higher Education and according to the principles of the Catholic Church concretized through the Salesian Charism. It comprises the Faculties of Philosophy and Pedagogy with the right to confer all academic degrees. Faculties and institutes may be added in accordance with the law.
