Institutional Quality and Teaching Self-Assessment System
1. The institutional quality and teaching objectives offered by ISDB are guaranteed, among other things, by the ISDB Quality and Self-Assessment System, in accordance with the requirements of the internationally recognized Quality Accreditation and Certification System adopted by ISDB.
2. The Quality, Self-Assessment, and Continuous Improvement System consists of its own regulations approved by the competent body of ISDB.
Article 60
Quality Council
1. The Quality Council is the advisory and support body of the ISDB Rector to ensure the quality of the teaching-learning process and institutional quality of the ISDB.
2. The Quality Council is responsible for:
1. implementing the ISDB’s quality, evaluation, and self-evaluation system;
2. evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality, evaluation, and self-evaluation system, as well as its processes;
3. monitor and evaluate the achievement of the objectives and targets set;
4. support the ISDB Council in preparing and studying the information needed to review the quality, evaluation, and self-evaluation system;
5. support the ISDB Councils in making decisions regarding the improvement of the effectiveness of the system and its processes.
Article 61
Composition and Functioning of the Quality Council
1. The ISDB Quality Council comprises:
1. the Rector, who chairs it;
2. the Quality Coordinator, appointed by the Rector, after consultation with the ISDB Council, for a renewable three-year term;
3. a representative of the teaching staff and researchers, elected by the respective Faculty.
2. The Quality Council shall meet ordinarily three times a year, at the beginning, middle, and end of the academic year, or in extraordinary session, at the initiative of its Chair or at the request of at least half plus one of its members.
3. The other rules of organization and functioning of the Quality Council are established by the General Regulations of ISDB.
