Díli, October 25, 2025. The Instituto Superior Dom Bosco (ISDB) successfully organized an Academic Debate Competition on October 25, 2025, marking a significant event in the institution’s academic calendar. The competition aimed to strengthen and develop students’ abilities in three key areas:

• Enhancing critical and analytical thinking skills.
• Developing clear and persuasive communication abilities.
• Promoting healthy academic discussion and reasoning.

The event was moderated by Dr. Plácido Teófilo Freitas, who guided the debates with professionalism, rigor, and impartiality.
