Dili, October 10, 2025. Two students from the Instituto Superior Dom Bosco (ISDB) have proudly secured fourth place in a national public speaking competition organized by the National Agency for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (ANAAA). The event, which focused on the impact of accreditation on universities and higher education institutions, featured student participants from ten universities and institutes across the country. Representing ISDB were Olga and Olavio. Olga competed in the English language category on Wednesday, October 8, while Olavio took part in the Portuguese language category on Thursday, October 9. The final results were officially announced on Friday, October 10. In the English language competition, the top four were:

2. UCT
3. CRISTAL
4. ISDB

In the Portuguese language competition, the rankings were:

1. Malestra Baucau
2. IOB
3. DIT
4. ISDB

Despite the tough competition, both ISDB students performed admirably, achieving fourth place in their respective categories. Their efforts have brought pride to their institution and demonstrated the growing talent among Timorese students in public speaking and academic discourse.
